About me

My name is Bidarte Larrasoain and I have been a professional translator since 2019. I studied Translation and Interpreting at the University of the Basque Country and knew from the outset that I wanted to devote my professional career to swimming between texts and languages. After completing my degree and working for a year at a translation company, I decided to venture into the world of freelance translation and have been able to work on projects covering a wide range of topics.

Since then, I have continued to train in order to perfect my language skills and always offer a quality service to my clients.

Professionally, I have continued to train throughout these years. On the one hand, I have specialized in a field that has always interested me and that I believe is more relevant than ever: ecology and the environment. On the other hand, I also specialize in editorial translation, a world that has always fascinated me.

How do I work?

Each project is unique and has specific characteristics. Therefore, during an initial meeting with the client, we will analyze the text to be translated and specify the objective and style of the final project. Then it will be time to get down to work and strive to achieve the best result.
All translations undergo a review process to ensure quality. Once reviewed, they are sent to the client, who is always welcome to make suggestions or changes. In addition, direct contact is maintained throughout the process in case any questions arise or changes are made to the original document.
